About Me
I'm an award-winning journalist currently working at the Edmonton Journal and Edmonton Sun newspapers as a multimedia reporter. I have a particular interested in reporting on social issues, issues affecting diverse communities, and crime.

I worked at NEWS 1130 CKWX in Vancouver as a web editor and radio reporter as part of an award-winning digital team before heading to Alberta's capital in January 2020. I was also shortlisted for a regional RTDNA award in the data storytelling category.

I've covered city hall, the environment, community stories, and the arts for Burnaby NOW, The New West Record, and Victoria News, and wrote features and community stories for Squamish Chief where I also had a city hall column. I've reported and produced a podcast episode for BBC Outlook and wrote a feature for Huffington Post Canada.

My first paid journalism gig was for CBC Vancouver's North by Northwest – I sold the show a podcast episode I made while still in journalism school.

I have a post-graduate certificate in journalism from Langara College and a Honors BA double major in criminology and visual arts from Western University Canada.

Outside of work, I'm interested in the arts and currently taking acting classes. I also like painting and can play five musical instruments.
